Went here for lunch with a group of 20. We called about half an hour ahead and they accommodated us out on the patio without problem. Our server, Mike, was friendly and handled our big group so well. Food was EXCELLENT. The Florence pizza to die for, BBQ pizza was very good, and the cheesy garlic bread....what a guilty pleasure. And it should be noted that the restaurant itself is gorgeous! Every detail from the brick pizza oven, to the playable piano located under the bar taps.... Just beautiful. Definitely what downtown twin falls needed. Love Slice!

Pizza crust is flavorless and undercooked. Very pricey for the quality of product you receive.

Love the pizza and atmosphere at Slice. The staff is great and is fun to chat with. Their appetizers and calzones are also great if you aren't in the mood for pizza, but who's ever not in the mood for pizza?

My family of four went just after the typical lunch hour. There was plenty of seating. Our hostess was our waitress and we were promptly seated. I'll add that we aren't from Idaho and do by know the area. The neighborhood is charming and appears to be halfway through an upswing in revitalization. We merely found the place by searching for pizza on Yelp. The kids menu is kind of sparse. Three dishes to choose from: a slice of pepperonni or cheese pizza, spaghetti with maranara or angel hair with herb butter. It would be nice to see some variety like meatballs, mac and cheese or chicken tenders. The regular menu looked great and I had to really keep myself from trying some yummy appetizers. My wife and I both ended up ordering a calzone. She got the pepperoni calzone and I got the meathead (photo attached). The kids' pasta arrived first. It was pretty plan. It consisted of a bowl of noodles with sauce on top. It would have been better to see a piece of garlic bread with the lonely looking dish. The sauce is a very light sauce which usually I don't care for as I like a robust sauce. However it was still good and my kids loved it. My wife's calzone arrived first. It came on a pizza pan and took up have the pan. Initially I thought both of our calzones were on the same pan because they were so big. I could smell the garlic butter that was brushed on to the knotted crust. The crust was light and flaky. The calzones came with a side of the same marinara sauce that was on my kids' spaghetti. The calzones were fantastic. Curiously, I did not see or taste any riccotta on the calzones. The mozzarella more than made up for it. The Italian sausage was fantastic. Definately check this place out of swinging through town.

Not a family-style pizza place, but good for a younger crowd. It seems a bit out of place in Twin Falls, but I lke that in a restaurant. Different is better. Service was good. Quality was good, not extraordinary, but I felt like I didn't overpay. Really loud. I would suggest it for a casual meal with 21 and over friends. I like that they are trying a new concept and have been adjusting based on feedback.

Have eaten here four times since my original tip. It's improved a little bit but the pizza dough and sauce is still bland. The service is decent in the restaurant but two special events held here have been a disappointment.

Nice restaurant downtown. There's a shaded patio area that is very nice! Service is good. Bruschetta is AMAZING. And the pizza is even better! Went for lunch in the summer, but looks like it would be happening at night on the weekends too. Definitely glad we decided to eat here!

The food tastes above average, for overpriced pizza, etc. Somewhat expected due to the location (if that's really possible in Twin Falls, ID). My biggest disappointment was having to ask the staff to fulfill the men's restroom with soap, at least 4 times - and it still wasn't done by the time we left. Like most people, I wash my hands before eating. What's worst is hoping the cooking staff didn't have access to soap for washing their hands, before handling my food. Our server, Sarah, was impressively attentive. If it weren't for the soap incident, I'd have rate them higher - but, it's the details like this that separate the excellent from the better and mediocre. Doubt I'll return.

Freaking fantastic. I've been here three times. Place is packed in the evenings. Pizza is phenomenal. Really great craft beer selection. I really can't say anything else. It's just that good. Can't wait to go back. And I'm not even than big of a pizza fan! Just go. Just go here. And get the Purple Haze Kona Porter if it's on tap. delicious.

Of course Pizza was the best meal we had our whole trip to Idaho. We arrived early waiting fr a friend. They had no problem letting us wait at a table for about 20 minute, Yes we did order drinks while we waited. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza because of the recommendation of our friend and it was outstanding. Our server was especially kind and pleasant and very accommodating. When we get moved up there this will be a place we regularly meet!

Great hometown pizza place that provides some unique combinations. Their other dishes are also very good and I would recommend the spaghetti and also the bruschetta.

We are in Twin Falls tonite, on our way to Yellowstone. Our hotel recommended a restaurant, looked like the usual..., we went on Yelp to find a "brew pub". Slice Pizza came up, reasonable reviews. What a find! Amazing food, we had the wilted spinach salad with chicken, excellent, enough for two! We also had the humus, very nice. The best though was the beer...the bar tender (Colton, Cole? Sorry, can't remember) had awesome recommendations for brews. I had an Alaskan IPA that was world class. We live in the Silicon Valley. If this place was there, it would be our go-to spot.

After an 11 hour drive from San Francisco we stayed in Twin Falls and our first meal was at Slice. We had a great meal with great service.

Food is good but service is slow and not really there... The last two time the service was terrible, we waited for a while after we were seated for someone to even asked us for drinks and when they did they forgot to bring us drinks, so another waitress came and took things over, our second waitress who came to wait on us did well and took care of things that the other one lacked on, kinda bad business in that sense. The time before our waitress at that time was clueless also and very forgetful of what was going on, and didn't get our food for over an hour... not sure if these it is their first day working there Or what but not good for the business in my opinion. Need more confident servers. But as I said before the second time we were there our second waitress was great!

I feel bad for the people who work here. The owner, the supervisors, they are mean. They are very unprofessional. Tim will regularly cuss out people in front of customers. I fully expect him to run this restaurant into the ground. I recommend you don't bring your children to Slice. Unless, that is, you want them to hear ten different expletives while your family tries to eat; uttered either by the staff or blared in the music over the sound system. Don't support this overpriced, pretentious, horrible restaurant.

Aside from being a little soft at the center, our pizza was great. It is the only decent pizza I've had so far on our annual visits to Twin. I have no idea why any of the other reviewers found it overpriced. It was far less pricey than I had expected for a quality handmade pie. We had the Hawiian, which has Canadian and regular bacon, thinly sliced fresh pineapple, sliced tomatoes and fresh basil. My wife thought it was too garlicy, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Recommended.

Fabulous pizza. I daydream about it constantly. Hands down the best pizza in Twin Falls. Good prices too. Go try it!!

My husband and I tried them out their first day open for lunch. There were a few hiccoughs and they were pretty behind on orders, our pizza took an hour to arrive, but I think they were still just working out the kinks. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. She came back to let us know that they were out of wedges for the salad my husband ordered, but they comped us an order of their cheesy bread. The cheesy bread is pretty tasty. It could have used a bit more salt to bring out the flavors, but their dough is very good as well as the marinara dipping sauce. We ended up with their pepperoni pizza. Thin, crispy crust. Delicious sauce. Flavorful pepperoni. All in all it was very tasty. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the view and breeze. Our waitress kept a good eye on us. We will defiantly be back.

This place was place was pretty cool, just like their slogan is BE COOL, the pizza was awesome and fulfilling, I really liked it and am going to come back definitely, though it is a bit overpriced for what it is.

I was here for lunch today. They have a slice of the day and you can build your own slice. The flavors are kind of "off". Today I had the hearts of romaine salad and a slice with tomatoes and basil. They put diced parsley on (all over) both the salad and the slice - parsley has an overpowering flavor - it took away from both dishes. They put an orchid on the salad plate - kind of weird for Italian/ american food. Also, they tried to "grill" the romaine. It just tasted burnt and had a carbon flavor to it. I bet they would do different with a different head chef/ cook. Also, they seem to have a lot of staff milling about. I should say I actually tried going in for dinner last night, but the kitchen was closed. It was a bit early for a kitchen to be closed - 7:45 pm on a Monday night. I was told only the bar was open.

A little pricey, but not too bad if you share. We had the goat cheese pizza, and it was awesome. The description might sound a little weird, but the balance of different flavors was incredible. The crust is really good even to eat on its own.

I wanted to like Slice more than this rating suggests because they do everything that I like in a pizza place. Don't get me wrong,... the pizza is great here. The dough is hand made and tossed Sicilian style. The sauce and cheese are yummy. All in all, it's a great pizza. The side salad was great too. I just thought that the price was a bit high for pizza. It was $15 for a 14" pizza (that's a medium in most places). They only have one size, so when you order a pie, that's what you'll get. If you've been to New York, you know that "a pie" is generally around 18". There are no sizes; just a slice or a pie. So, I expected Slice to bring it New York big. That was my only hold up on Slice. Since there are very few traditional New York pizzerias in Twin Falls, Slice will continue to be the "go to" spot for good pizza. Perhaps, they could introduce some Happy Hour discounts. That would definitely keep me coming back for more.

3 stars for the effort and taste of the food. There are many elements that seem forced in this restaurant and would caution the management to reign it in before too much business is lost. There truly isn't much that can be hip about pizza. The expectation is standard to most and the ability to present them classically and with plenty of taste is your best bet. The slice of the day is a great deal and additional ingredients are easily added to suit your taste. The dough as stated previously is a but lacking in taste and would benefit with a garlic olive oil paint when coming out of the oven. Table service was quick and attentive. The value was moderate for the area.

Hard to find any fault with this place. The pizza is fantastic the wood fired crust with garlic brushed on it. I had the veggie pizza and had then put sausage on it. It was great plenty of fresh toppings and cooked perfectly. I took my order to go so can't really talk about service or ambience but seemed good.

I guess this place just felt overpriced for what it is; uninspired pizza in a brewpub environment (though they don't actually brew). This place was mostly fine and frankly a lot of this review has to do with perceived value but I can't help but leaving this place more than a little dissatisfied. Perhaps it's just that I expect more out of a place with 4 1/2 Yelp stars (as of 7/14/14)? Certainly a desire to help unskew their ridiculously high rating is a part of my review. If this place had a more reasonable 2 and a half stars, this is about the quality level I would have expected. Maybe people are so charmed by the brick oven that they overlook everything else? The mediocre ingredient quality (dry cardboardy dough, run of the mill foodservice toppings, bland sauce) leaves a lot to be desired. Like the food, the decor and atmosphere of the place we're just blah. Maybe I should temper my expectations when trying to find a good pizza joint in a small town in Idaho? Maybe compared to other alternatives in the area this place excels? Maybe, I don't know. I was passing through and didn't try any other pizza places in Twin Falls but Id expect more from the top rated pizza place in a town of 50k+ inhabitants.

Excellent decor and ambiance. Brilliant beer varieties. Had the spinach salad. Was delicious, but what isn't when sautéed in pancetta fat?! The pizza choices are unique and tasty. The best restaurant twin falls has to offer. Been waiting for a non-chain for a long time! Well done, Slice.

Best pizza in town, hands down. Brick oven pizza with wonderful crust. I've tried the (1) pepperoni, (2) canadian bacon, pineapple, and jalapeno, (3) meathead, and (4) inferno. All were fantastic (although watch out with the inferno, it will get you later). Fairly priced, nice selection of beers on tap, and the decor is perfect (industrial/brick). Very nice addition to downtown Twin Falls. For lunch you can even order by the slice.

Great place if you like pizza. The wood fired pizza is done extremely well. The pizza selections are great too. Service was better than expected. Atmosphere was also very welcoming and friendly. Defiantly worth a stop in!

Excellent pizza, unlike any in Twin Falls, excellent staff, exemplary ingredients. If you rated this establishment less than a four your, a bitter cry baby.

Love the pizza here!!! The only thing about this restaurant is the music is way too loud and not the kind of music I want to hear when I go to a restaurant. It's loud enough in there as it is and then they just play very loud hard rock to make it even louder. My opinion- you don't need any music in this restaurant.

I'm doing four stars for now until I go back a few more times. I smell five stars, just not ready to dish them out yet. Let's first discuss the physical building. The building itself has been there for, what? 80+ years? The owners did a nice job of renovating it and giving it that new "old" look. The bottlecap bar is very cool/trendy and I spied at least 15 beers on tap. The area where they make the pizzas is towards the rear of the establishment and in full view of anyone who wishes to watch them make it. I watched them make mine and that was cool. The service was fine. Attentive waitress, helpful hostesses. Nothing extraordinary. It's what I expect from a server. Now let's get down to the food. I had one slice of pepperoni pizza. It was a thin crust slice. Good, bold flavor. You can taste the Italian seasoning. And the flavor of the pepperoni complimented said seasoning very nicely. The cheese tasted FRESH! Not overly salty, but a subtle flavor that merely supported the over flavor profile instead of dominating it. I could have gone for another slice as I gobbled up the one I ordered rather quickly. For dessert I had a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of a brownie. The ONLY reason I mention this is because the ice cream has sea salt on it. Never have I had that before. And what a total shock it was. And how very delish it was as well. Great experience with the new/only trendy, big-city pizzeria here in Twin. I'm DEFINITELY going back. I hope Slice sticks around. UPDATE: My most recent visit was with out of town family in late December 2014 (after Christmas, before New Years). There were about 15 of us and we were a challenge. We mostly got calzones and a few salads. Wow. My calzone (Pepperoni) was FANTASTIC! Hot and fresh. Slice officially gets five stars. I hope this establishment sticks around..

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Yelp is incorrect because they have a full bar and 15 different beer on tap. Big-city pizza in small-town Idaho.

  • Danielle D.

Great gluten-free pizza. I know just by looking at my husband's bubbly, crispy-chewy hand-tossed, gluten-ful pizza that it tasted better than mine. But it's ok, I'm a big girl and i'll settle for a gluten-free crust if it means i won't be sick later. But oh the toppings! I ordered something with prosciutto and melty mascarpone, and another with apples. gorgonzola, and arugula... So good! Really "gourmet" for TF. Only gave four stars because the servers seem a little distracted, like they would rather be somewhere else and the wine list is not great.

  • Kailee R.

Lunch started well with a great caprese appetizer so I had high hopes for the pizza but felt it didn't much flavor. I had the Greek so maybe others will taste better. Typical twin falls service, first impression so-so.

  • Jessi M.

We have only been here once but I took a chance and gave it five stars straight off. Reasons being the atmosphere was great, the service was flawless, and the pizza was absolutely wonderful. Not like anything we have here in Twin Falls. Normally I would wait to dish out five stars until at least the second go around, but after thinking about it I had nothing to justify only four stars on our first visit. Our server was attentive, but not overly so. The food came in a reasonable amount if time, and when we asked for suggestions we were not led wrong. It's not like most pizza here in town where you eat two gooey slices and you're full; two pizzas fed our family of three (two adults and a five year old) and we only took three pieces home (we did not do any appetizers). And if you are wondering the Pear and Gorgonzola pizza was absolutely wonderful. My husband even liked it and he is not a huge bleu cheese fan; I love bleu cheese and was not disappointed. We will be back, no question.

Great pizza. Great price. Beautiful atmosphere. Love the open dining option. The interior is gorgeous. Try the Greek I took the waitresses advise and added sausage Mmmmmm. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Good food. Decent atmosphere albeit a tad dark inside. Patio seating is great for people watching. Decent beer and wine selections, but was hoping for a larger microbrew selection. Two pizzas (they only come in one size) feed our family of four.

  • Lisa R.

My husband and I had lunch there today. And yes I am giving them 5 stars for salad! Great ambience, the server was pleasant and overall the salads were great. Just the right amount of everything! Mostly giving this place five stars instead of four Because I am so excited to have a new, quality establishment downtown! Can't wait to go back and have a slice!
